The marquee conceals an LED matrix behind an array of precisely cut motherboards, mounted within a basswood lattice. The motherboards retain a 1/8” gap to the wood to allow the LED light to pass through.
Data is rendered via various means: recorded message, time, temperature, RSS feeds, etc. This piece was to serve as a proof of concept and other iterations are currently in progress.
